Hey look, it's Contest No. 2!

Well, here we go again, I've been getting ideas on how I wanted to handle this and such, and now I think I have it.

So hell, why waste time?



Contest No. 2: Versus Colors!

The Rules!

1) The Subject Matter:

This one requires a drawing of Pilar in her school uniform, and in a completely different color scheme from her actual design. Think of it as an "alternate color" choice if she were in a fighting game. The only caveat to that is her skin tone (which can be remain the same) and her white blouse (which can still remain white).

While the color choices will definitely NOT be the only thing the winners are chosen for, it will have a much larger impact on who places where... so be creative!

It can be holiday-basd colors, monochromatic, tacky, whatever... Go crazy.


2) Who can participate?

Anyone who isn’t on my production team. (See below)

No collaborations please, as it would make the prizes nigh-impossible to "split up."


3) Who’s judging it?

My team will be giving these the look over and we’ll be judging from there. They’re listed below in “The Bug Group” section of my journal per the usual. After the deadline has passed, we will be looking through all the entries and voting via Mario Kart Wii races. Whoever wins the best out of 20 races gets their vote weighed the most, since dominating in Mario Kart has always been a direct sign of how awesome you really are.

(I kid, we’re just going to vote and come to a general consensus on which pieces we like best, just like last time.)


4) Deadline?!

August 7th... No later than midnight. At 12:01AM on August 8th, your entry is late and will not be added. Has to be some sort of cut-off, right?

Results will go up on August 16th by midnight, and prizes handed out NO LATER THAN August 29th, at midnight. The reason for the two-week-long delay there is to ensure enough time for me to get the fan-art completed for the winners in a timely manner.


5) Submission?

Post them to your devART page, then link me to them by sending me a note stating what the link is for, and of course an html link to the submission. Not doing this could get your entry ignored, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE follow this step!

* I will actively check around for entries, but it works a LOT better with a note since I immediately check those first!

You may have more than one entry to this contest, but only ONE will be ranked, and it'll be down to the votes; whichever one is ranked higher will be the one that we go with, so keep that in mind!

ALL entries will be available to be viewed in the Bug Fan Art section of my dA page though, so multiple entries will be noticed.

In your description, please identify the characters in the piece and who they belong to! I’m sure most people do that anyhow, but it needs to be said just to make sure...

The piece you submit is your work, and will not be used without your permission. If the case comes up where we are very interested in using your art for ANY reason beyond this contest and/or devART purposes, I will ask you personally before doing ANYTHING with regards to said piece, and will NOT move further without the permission of you, the creator of that piece.
